An Odd Couple, Jonah and Ruth: Lessons for Our Fractured World
Please join us for a bible study on these two books from our Old Testament which will explore one of scriptures most compelling themes: God’s love for the outsider - even the enemy. During the nine week study, participants are invited to reflect on inclusion, mercy, and the call to live out God’s steadfast love.
Jonah and Ruth offer extraordinary and very different stories—a satire and a romance—yet both reveal profound truths about God’s character and our response to others. We will explore a unified theme of inclusion, mercy, and community and come away with a richer understanding of these two biblical figures.
